Dr Scott Campbell BVSc (Hons) M.A.C.V.Sc, D.A.C.V.N

Director Veterinarian

Scott graduated from University of Queensland in 1994 and originally worked at Booval for 2 years from 1999. He then worked in the UK and US where he gained his Membership in Small Animal Medicine and became a Diplomate of the American College in Small Animal Nutrition. In 2007 he returned home and rejoined the team where many clients still remembered his friendly, approachable manner and his absolute dedication to pet care. Dr. Scott is an avid traveller and motorbike rider and at home is kept busy with his twin girls and son, plus Cassidy the cat who has a malformed front leg.

Teejay Hani

General Manager – Ipswich Vet Group

Teejay comes from a background in business management with over 20 years of experience managing teams in retail, hospitality and travel. Teejay has been with Ipswich Vet Group since 2014 and brings a passion for people and animals to our clinics and a focus on customer service and patient care. On any given day Teejay will make his way between our clinics, there to help our staff, you and your pets.

Brittany VN

Inventory & Social Media Coordinator - Ipswich Vet Group

Brittany joined our team in 2017, after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Brittany has a passion for animals and always wanted to work with them as a career. She loves all animals, but can’t resist a cuddle with a border collie. Her fur (and reptile) family consist of her border collie, Theo (who is always eating things he shouldn’t), her cat, Tiger and Belle the Eastern longneck Turtle. Brittany is the Department Head for the reception team as well as managing the inventory and social media for Ipswich Vet Group

Dr Amy Menendez BVSc (Hons)

Vet Team Supervisor - Ipswich Vet Group

Dr. Amy Menendez is the Vet Team Supervisor for Ipswich Vet Group. She has always had a drive to help animals from a young age. She has an interest in internal medicine and enjoys being able to put together pieces of the puzzle to achieve a diagnosis to help pets and their owners. She has a gentle demeanour and makes you and your pets feel right at home. You can take comfort in knowing she takes great care with all of her patients. Out of work, Amy is a a keen soccer player!

Morgan VN

Nurse Team Supervisor

Morgan joined the team as a qualified Veterinary Nurse in 2019. Over the course of her time with Ipswich Vet Group Morgan has transitioned from Vet Nurse to the current Department Head for the nurse team for Ipswich Vet Group. She has a passion for pets and pet care Morgan enjoys the ability nursing gives her to advocate for those who don’t have the voice to do so and to share her knowledge and experience with pet owners about gold standard animal care.

Dr Haoran Huo

Associate Vet

Dr. Haoran Huo joined Ipswich Vet Group in 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Dr. Huo has a practical, professional and passionate approach to his veterinarian work and works hard to ensure his patients are provided with a Gold Standard of patient care. Dr. Huo works between all of our clinics but can most regularly be found on shift at Booval Vet Hospital.

Dr Gracen Mason

Senior Associate Vet

Dr Gracen Mason knew she wanted to help animals from childhood and graduated from a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at James Cook University in 2017. She has returned to Queensland in 2022, after working in the UK and is excited to join the Ipswich Vet Team.

Gracen is a self-confessed cat lady and she and her partner have 3 cats at home. Lance, Australian born and very sassy, as well as their 2 failed-foster cats from England, Scoot and Zodi, who they couldn’t bear to leave behind.

At work, Gracen enjoys meeting and getting to know families and their pets and the problem solving involved when patients can’t simply tell you what is wrong. She is passionate about patient care and strives to make sure your pets feel as comfortable and loved in the clinic as they would at home.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, arts and craft and spending time in nature.

Luke R VN

Vet Nurse

Luke R joined Ipswich Vet Group in 2023 as a certified Vet Nurse and has quickly established himself as a passionate, empathetic and positive member of the team. Luke is always sporting a smile and is ready to help everyone at any time. He has a genuine love for animals and is always ready to help pet owners with their pets. Feel free to strike up a chat with Luke R who works between our 3 clinic locations, he is always sporting a smile and positive energy!

Tegan

Receptionist

Tegan joined the Ipswich Vet Group team in 2022 as a receptionist at Booval Vet Hospital. Tegan brings a positive and uplifting energy to our reception area and brings calm to our team on a daily basis. Tegan helps to keep appointments on time, and helps our clients and their pets in the waiting area before they head on into their appointments. Dr. Claudia Kelly

Associate Vet

Dr. Claudia Kelly joined the Ipswich Vet Group team in 2023 and has shown to be a passionate, empathetic and understanding pet care professional who is engaged in obtaining the best health care outcomes for her patients and clients. Dr. Claudia has a wonderful approach to her career which is reflected in the positive energy she brings to her work and communication with her clients and colleagues. Dr. Claudia loves pets and it shines through every day. You can see Dr. Claudia at any of our vet clinics, but she is most often found at Booval Vet Hospital.

Teagan

Receptionist

Teagan joined the Ipswich Vet Group team in 2023 as a Receptionist bringing her great customer service experience and communication skill with her from her time in the retail world. Teagan is super helpful on reception at Booval Vet Hospital and is happy to answer any queries you may have all while wearing a smile and providing a Gold Standard of customer service and supporting our medical team with patient check ins.

Dr Isabella O’Connor BVSc (Hons)

Senior Associate Vet

Isabella graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018, with a keen interest in surgery. She loves all animals, but has a soft spot for Labradors. At home, she has a black Labrador “Leonard”, and a ginger cat “Charlie”. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter renovating their home.

Courtney

Vet Nurse

Courtney has been nursing since 2020 and has loved every minute of it. Courtney started nursing as she has a strong passion for animals and helping those in need. At home, Courtney has 2 Maltese, Mia and Max, a nanday conure named Lou, and a cat named Gizmo. Gizmo has a strong place in Courtney’s heart as he was brought home at 3 days old and nursed back to health. He quickly became part of the family. In Courtney’s spare time you can find her dancing and competing at many competitions over QLD, or playing netball!

Receptionist

Amy G has a passion for pets and people which is why she is such an amazing member of our team! She has an English Staffy named Frankie who she spoils and loves very much.

Luke

Vet Nurse

Luke has always loved animals so he became a vet nurse to work with them every day. Luke started his nursing career in Sydney about 7 years ago, then moved to country NSW and worked there for almost 4 years in a mixed practice before finally moving to Ipswich in 2022 when he joined our team at Ipswich Vet Group. Luke has an Australian bulldog called barney.

Elise

Vet Nurse

Elise became a vet nurse because of a deep passion for animals. At home Elise shares her space with her lovely, crazy little babies, Remy and Goose. They remind her of the value and gift of having pets and keep her on her toes!

Andrea

Accounts Nurse

Andrea commenced her career in the Veterinary Industry when she joined the clinic in 2006 . As a qualified Veterinary Nurse Andrea enjoys being able to share her passion for animals and educating clients on keeping their pets as healthy and safe as possible. In 2014 Andrea was promoted to Nurse Manager of the Ipswich Veterinary Group.  Since then she has welcomed her son and daughter into the world and has stepped back from her nursing role and now manages the accounting of all three clinics. Andrea cares for her geriatric cat Monty and small herd of alpacas.
